Ejaculatory disorders can be classified into three main categories:

• Premature ejaculation: When a man ejaculates sooner than he or his partner would like. Occasional premature ejaculation is common but if it’s happening more often than you’d like, it may be worth seeking help.
• Delayed ejaculation: When a man experiences a significant delay before ejaculation or is unable to ejaculate at all. If this happens infrequently it’s probably not a cause for concern, but you may want to speak with a specialist if it happens more than half the times you have sex.
• Retrograde ejaculation: The semen travels backwards into the bladder instead of out of the penis at the point of ejaculation. Men with this condition can still experience an orgasm, however, it may cause issues with fertility. Symptoms of retrograde ejaculation include no or a low semen volume and producing cloudy

There are many possible causes for ejaculatory disorders. For premature and delayed ejaculation, there could a psychological aspect, or it could arise as a side effect from certain medical conditions, medications, or lifestyle factors.

Retrograde ejaculation is caused when the muscle at the opening of the bladder, that usually stops semen from flowing into the bladder, doesn’t work properly. This condition could arise from nerve damage from a medical condition like diabetes, or a reaction to certain medications or surgery.
