We offer a couples fertility assessment (sometimes called an MOT) whereby both you and your partner can attend the clinic together and both undergo fertility testing, followed by a consultation with a fertility expert.
This service is offered at our Spire Thames Valley Clinic in conjunction with Fertility gynaecologist Mr Neale Watson and fertility nurse specialist Miss Jacky Taylor.
What does this include?
FOR MEN: This includes a comprehensive semen analysis that will be reviewed by one of our urologists and discussed with you.
FOR WOMEN: An AMH test, this test gives an indication of ovarian reserve and a pelvic ultrasound scan, this scan will examine your ovaries and uterus (womb).
TOGETHER: You will then have a fertility consultation to discuss the results and treatment options this will be conducted by Mr Watson.
How does it work?
You will both need to attend the clinic before your consultation with Mr Watson for the semen analysis and the AMH test. We will then make a convenient appointment for you to see Mr Watson. Mr Watson offers evening and weekend appointments.
What happens at my consultation?
Mr Watson will discuss your test results with you and explain your fertility potential, evaluate your individual fertility needs and will advise you accordingly, tailoring an individual fertility treatment plan to suit your own circumstances.
Miss Mooney will discuss your semen analysis results with you and advise you if your sperm needs to be improved.
How much does this cost?
