Free advice – not worth it

Free advice sounds great but it may not actually be worth anything. At Fertility Solutions, we get a lot of patients that call us to ask for our help and advice, and sometimes can become quite frustrated when they don’t get this straight away. The reason for this is that to give proper clinical advice that will actually help a patient in the long run, you need to see them in clinic and assess the entire situation. Although free advice may seem like a great thing at the time; it is hard to get the right advice without having the relevant tests beforehand.

This is where our couples fertility assessment programme is recommended and very useful for couples that are trying to conceive or for those couples that are thinking about trying to conceive in the next year or so.

During this process, we fully assess each individual, individually; the male team assessing the man and the female team assessing the woman. Together we produce a report, treatment plan and pathway to help you get pregnant or to simply help you understand your potential fertility for the future.

Only in this way can we truly help couples to conceive.

As there are so many different factors that can affect fertility, there is never answer to what might be causing the infertility or fertility problems. There is a series of tests that can be done to help get an understanding of what is going on.

Around 50% of all fertility problems are caused by male factor, meaning that it is important that you both the female and male partner are investigated.

If you would like to speak to our team about investigation for male and female fertility please contact us on 01753 891118 to book an appointment at one of our locations in London and surrounding counties.
